Jack Hughes: Founder, Researcher and Writer
Hey there! I am Jack Hughes, the founder of Red Dot Hub. I love shooting and everything that makes it better. I have used red dot sights for a long time, and my love for them and my passion for collecting them has led to this website. I want to share my experience of using red dot sights and tell you all the tips and tricks I learned the hard way, so you don’t have to. My team and I ensure that we give the best quality content to the readers so they can learn and grow as shooters.
Meet My Team
We have a dedicated team of researchers, testers and writers working day and night to give you the best content. We hope to continue our journey of learning with our readers and grow together.
Sarah Pearson: Writer and editor
Sarah Pearson is a senior writer and researcher at reddothub.com, and she was among one of the first few people that joined me in this venture. Her love and enthusiasm for guns and everything related makes her an important part of our team. I sometimes think if not for her, I wouldn’t be here.
Ben Miller: Researcher and writer
Our researchers are the pillars of our team, and Ben Miller is a strong one. Ben joined me 5 months after I started this passion project, but his hard work and dedication soon became an important part of the team. His passion for shooting and learning about it is remarkable.
Amelia James: Researcher and Writer
Amelia joined the team at the same time as Ben. Her love for shooting developed when she used to assist her grandfather as a kid in his shooting ventures. She quit her job in a firearm company and decided to join us in our passion project. We are glad!
Ema Cooper: Tester and researcher
Ema Cooper loves shooting and needs any excuse to try her hand at the new optic or gun. She is a geek and loves the ever-evolving intricacies of sights. She is one we all would rely on for details of the specs and features of our red dots.
John Davis: Researcher and tester
John is 50, most senior age-wise but most childlike energy. He has been shooting since he was 12 and has used all traditional scopes and iron sights.
He is always amazed by the technology of the red dot sights and how they changed the way we shoot. He is as fascinated by the red dots as he is with smartphones. For him, testing and researching these sights is fun; he is like a kid in a candy store.
